Exploring AI, Vibe Coding & Citizen Development in Quality Engineering

We spend a lot of time working with processes, tools, requirements, risks and quality.

But what if we could also experiment with building some of the tools we wish we had?

With AI-assisted development and Vibe Coding, that possibility is becoming increasingly accessible – even without a traditional software development background.

I’ll share a small hobby project: an AI-assisted Test Case Generator I’ve been experimenting with in my spare time.

πŸ” What we’ll explore

  • The Garage Experiment – can QA professionals build their own supporting tools?
  • AI-assisted Test Case Generation – turning requirements into structured test cases.
  • Professional Quality Knowledge – bringing ISTQB terminology, product criticality and risk into the experiment.
  • Learning Together – exploring what we can build, what can go wrong and where human judgment remains essential.

🎀 Format

Short introduction, live demo and collaborative discussion.

Rather than presenting a finished solution, I’ll share an experiment and invite participants to question, challenge and contribute ideas.

No coding skills required – just curiosity and an open mind.

πŸ‘₯ Who should join?

QA professionals, Test Managers, testers and curious minds.

Let’s experiment, question and learn together! β˜•πŸŒ±
